In 1927, Redfern launched his plane from nearby Sea Island beach, bound for Rio de Janeiro. He never arrived, and nearly a century later, his disappearance remains one of aviation's greatest mysteries. While we can't solve the mystery, you've landed in a great place to find a good time.
