Belgian Dubbel. St.Bernardus Pater 6 is brewed according to the classic Dubbel style with a recipe that dates back to 1946. The name of this beer has become a reference for its style, and it is commonly referred to as ‘een Paterke' in Belgium, which is a Dutch nickname for a monk. St.Bernardus Pater 6 is a chestnut-brown, dark beer with a creamy head. Impressions of hazelnut and mocha lie at the basis of the mouth feel, which flows into a playful duel between the mild taste of dark candy sugar and a slightly toasted but dry grain character. Plenty of apple and pear aromas make their presence felt all the way to the slightly bitter aftertaste

Belgian Tripel. Nose is loaded with Belgian yeast character of banana and clove with an equally fruity body balanced with a light, earthy hop character. Savor notes of orange and spice followed by a dry finish

IPA. North Coast Steller IPA is a very aromatic brew. Generous hops provide intense spice and pine character with subtle notes of grapefruit. Peach Sour. A refreshing neo-Berliner Weisse, Festina Pêche is back and available in 6-packs this summer, as well as our Summer Variety Pack! Sadly, there are only a few breweries left in Berlin still brewing the Berliner Weisse style, which is characterized by its intense tartness (some say sour). There were once over 70 breweries in Berlin alone making this beer! In addition to fermentation with an ale yeast, Berliner Weisse is traditionally fermented with lactic cultures to produce its acidic (or green apple-like) character. Served as an apertif or summertime quencher, Festina is delicately hopped and has a pale straw color. To soften the intense sourness, Berliner Weisse is traditionally served with a dash of essence of woodruff or raspberry syrup. In Festina Pêche, since the natural peach sugars are eaten by the yeast, the fruit complexity is woven into both the aroma and the taste of the beer so there is no need to doctor it with woodruff or raspberry syrup. Sherry Cask Berry Sour. Angel of Darkness is a barrel-aged American sour. This ale is blended with 1.5 pounds per gallon of boysenberries, blackberries, raspberries and cherries and aged in Oloroso sherry casks. After 14 months of aging in these flavor-intense barrels, the beer is blended onto another 1.5 pound per gallon of these dark fruits in stainless steel tanks for 2 months. A total of 3 tons of fruit and 16 months of maturation later, we give you Angel of Darkness. For as long as the tribe could remember, the great woodland fires raged and smoldered through the tall pines. Life was an endless cycle of rebuilding homes further and deeper into the remains of the timberland. From a faith for a life without fire, the Angel of Darkness was manifest. The strength of his tread stamped out flame and the reverberation of his bestial roar snuffed out all embers. Relief displaced anxiety, faith extinguished fire, and hope in the darkness yielded way to new light

Belgian Golden Ale. Duvel is a natural beer with a subtle bitterness, a refined flavour and a distinctive hop character. The unique brewing process, which takes about 90 days, guarantees a pure character, delicate effervescence and a pleasant sweet taste of alcohol. Apart from pure spring water, which is the main ingredient of beer, barley is the most important raw material. Barley must germinate for five days in the malt house, after which malt remains. The colour of the malt and as a consequence also of the beer is determined by the temperature. Duvel obtains its typical bitterness by adding various varieties of aromatic Slovenian and Czech hops. We use only exclusive hops that are renowned for their constant, outstanding quality. Duvel ferments for the first time in tanks at 20 to 26°C. The brewer uses his own culture for this. The original yeast strain, which Victor Moortgat himself selected in the 1920’s, originates from Scotland. After maturing in storage tanks in which the beer is cooled down to -2°C, the drink is ready for bottling. Thanks to the addition of extra sugars and yeast, the beer ferments again in the bottle. This occurs in warm cellars (24°C) and takes two weeks. Then the beer is moved to cold cellars, where it continues to mature and stabilise for a further six weeks. This extra long maturation period is unique and contributes to the refined flavour and pure taste of Duvel
